Did I just here a Brentford player just got booked "for going right through Alan Hutton"?!

That makes a change.
Hutton will be out for revenge!

Some decent passes.   Hogan n Jack look useful.

So frustrating that we really struggle to keep hold of the ball despite having some good midfielders. On the plus side Hogan has looked sharp and Elphick has looked strong at the back.

Once moment where we tried to pass and move score a goal, you’d think we’d learn from that.

Hutton, Whelan and Jedi - awful

Hogan - done well with fuck all.

More link up play from Hogan and Grealish second half please. They can win this game for us.

After the first five minutes we played football for just one more.

And scored.

Maybe the coaches and management will notice?

Promising first few minutes then awful until we equalised.  Did OK after that, but then looked shaky again just before half-time.  Our best periods of the half coincided with Grealish getting on the ball more.

I do love it when Glenn Whelan looks up and decides it is in our best interest to play a 40yd ball to Hogan's head when he's marked by 2 defenders who are at least 4ft taller than him and he has no support within 20yds of him.

His services terrible. Would suit Dion Dublin or John Fashanu but not Scott Hogan.
Exactly but I don't think that Bruce has any idea of how to set us up to play the type of game that would suit Hogan.

Second half: we'll climb back on the toilet after an aborted Boxing Day mission ends in stalemate, possibly caused by the tail end of a Cadbury's selection box. After much pushing and straining something will give, the sprout trigger will finally be activated, and after the initial depth charge we'll pebbledash our way to a glorious draw.

I just don't understand the mindset with Hogan. You'd think Bruce would be doing everything in his power to make sure he succeeds at villa and yet you wouldn't be suprised if he swaps him with Jedinak up front for the 2nd half
