We'll be about 8th by mid January. We'll get a bit of a hiding at Derby next week.

Absolute shite football nearly every week. Slow, laboured, boring, predictable shite.
Bullshit. What about Preston, Ipswich, QPR, Leeds second half?

Leeds 2nd half wasn't particularly good, although I agree the other perfomances you list were decent.

The problem is that they are the exceptions. Most of the time it is poor to watch, even when we do win.
But when we do win, in the glow of victory there are many posters who compare us to Newcastle, who ground out the occasional result and ended up in the Prem. I would rather that than say Sheffield United, who play exciting football but are now paying the price.

I don't blame Bruce for today's result but  I certainly think injuries have played their part.

I thought Millwall were the better team and an away performance that would normally get 3 points.

I doubt if thier whole team cost more than Hogan.

Poor result, but it happens. Even to Wolves.  We need a big performance at Derby.

Nice try at an excuse. But shit performances and results happen to us more than Wolves. You may want to look at the table for confirmation.

Give it a rest mate. I can almost see you rubbing your hands with glee.

if we genuinely want to get up without the playoffs we need to re-energise and strengthen the squad for the final push. As a priority, we need to sign a couple of top (for this level) strikers.

Given the Millions spunked on Hogan in the last January 'window, I can't say I've got much faith in Bruce & co's ability in bringing in the quality we're evidently lacking (especially with constraints of FFP). Still, hope springs eternal...

On a brighter note, I expect those cuddly 'Wall herberts were all sweetness & light this arfternoon. Their old Mums love 'em, ya know.  ;)

You shouldn't consider someone pointing out shite excuses for poor performances as 'smugness'.

It wasn't an excuse though. It was an acknowledgement that poor results and performances happen. Let's move on.

I'm pretty sure everyone would prefer to be talking about a great performance and comfortable win rather than a 1 shot on target shitfest at home to Millwall so knock off the "smugness" bollocks.

The point made though is they happen to us a lot more than they do Wolves, and it's true which is why we're so far behind them.

It was crap and it was cold. We never really got going at all and the only consolation was that we didnt lose.
