12 September 1959 Ipswich Town, we won 3-1.  I remember the teams, score and our scorers but had to look up the date.

The one and only time I've sat in the Witton Lane stand.

No idea, I was more interested in sliding down the dirt bank at the back of the Witton End. I couldn’t see the pitch anyway from the terrace

Some time towards the back end of the 62-63 season. A Central League game against Sheffield Wednesday reserves. Standing on the Witton Lane. We lost. No idea who played on either side.

I do remember the vividness of the Claret And Blue shirts and the amazingly green pitch. I was 10. Hooked.
