Only downside were the injuries to Jedi and Davis. Job done and a pretty routine home win in the bag.

We do like a 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline.

Solid, unspectacular win. The sort that will have to be the backbone for the next month or so, especially if Davis is now injured as well.

They never troubled us from open play.

2 clinical finishes from Albert for the points. We actually played some half decent stuff at times. I'm slowly warming to Snodgrass.

So do I as long as it's in our favour!

Great result. We struggled with Waghorn aerially from the sounds but Ipswich didn't have a single shot on goal looking at the stats. Slight worry about an over-reliance on Adomah whose conversion rate must be the best in the country now.

Pity he didn’t take Davis off before, as said Pre match, he has to find a way to play without Davis.
This was a very convincing win though and we played like a team that knows what it is doing.

We've put a nice 6pt gap between us and the rest outside the play offs and at present just 2pts from second.

Davis did jog off so perhaps the injury isint too serious.

I'm slowly warming to Snodgrass.

Ha! Take your time. He may not be spectacular but he's been the driving force for the team since he joined. Apart from Albert, he'd get my MOTM along with Cafu. Two determined players that drive the side forward.

Overall, three points are three points. Like the Sunderland game, it's not one I'll bother to watch again. The ref certainly didn't help with the lack of entertainment, allowing thousands of niggling tackles without booking the culprits but giving free kicks.

Next Friday will be a big, big test. I just hope we have Davis available. After getting bullied against Sunderland I thought he more than hold his own today.
