Keep on running - Spencer Davis Group No relevance to our club but a great song to sing to (when pissed) and a local band Or after yesterday's result"What becomes of the broken hearted" Jimmy Ruffin
I've never heard an Oasis track and thought that's Man City that.
Thread is being used by music snobs to bash the best British band over the last 45 years I feel. We can't sing bloody Radiohead or Arcade Fire

I'm not that fussed about the song normally, and in the cold light of day I overwhelmingly feel it's got no emotional connection to the Villa. But when the whistle goes and you win by the odd goal and all that tension and excitement gets released, a song everyone knows the words to and is absolutely designed to have tens of thousands caterwauling along to it is very welcome.
