I’m getting to the point where I’m not that bothered about going up because if you do you have to pay daft money for ordinary players just to stand still.It may be ever thus but I think I’ve had it now.

Although someone said to me yesterday that Villa were the Liverpool/Man City of the Championship. If a player isn’t doing well at another, poorer, club we go and buy him. And that the £10-15m we paid for Kodja, McCormack etc would buy other clubs in the Championship.I suppose he had a loose point.
