Just saw the pen appeal again. Definitely a pen but the bird called it right. The angle of the ball after the tackle made it look like Chester got a touch on the ball.

Absolutely nailed-on. What makes it even more ridiculous/marvellous is the position the Ref was in when he didn't give it!

Good first half, looking out best team at the moment.

After all those years getting annoyed at amount of decisions Chelsea got with Terry as the referee its nice to see it working out way on the pen :-)

Keep it up boys

I would replace Whelan second half. He is the only player who has looked a little below par. Maybe Jedi?

Have to disagree with that.  I think he has has had a good half there and has largely controlled things in there.

Whelan was excellent in the first half.
Excellent...really? He did ok, better than the last couple of games but I wouldn't use excellent as a word to describe him tonight.

I really do like Davis. The lad's hold-up play is a joy.

He’s obviously had a very good evening has Mr Snodgrass, but I do reckon I can skin a player better than him.

I've got a tremendous, and original, aside to use which compares our Caledonian full-back to a Teutonic defensive stalwart, while aluding to a well-known phrase criticising an older lady's choice of attire.

Might post it later if we win, as a treat.

To be fair, I've been critical of him in the past but he had a very good first half.

Adomah nearly in on goal there, but the ball got away from him.

Who would have thought Hutton would turn into Phillip Lahm when he went to left back. Incredible, he looks miles more comfortable than at right back.

So it's Hutton dressed as Lahm

2011 called asking for its joke back *winky*

Quite. I think Mazrim was the first person I remember making that joke, and I don't think he's posted since McLeish was managing us.
