"The one match worth getting up for".

More like the one match you actually go to. Bless you, and all your 12 fingers.

For every pink balloon and flag that you wave,
While a gate is open and you gesture, so brave.
While you sit in the Holte singing Yippee i ay,
Don't forget the Witton Arms was Blue for a day.

Keep Right On versus Yippee i oh,
A great football anthem v I don't even know.
Every time that you call us obsessed,
We just fecking hate you, no more or no less.

Before he sold out and took money to switch,
Your manager, Bruce, he danced on your pitch.
Your cute little flags for the Bradford semi,
But you've won feck all now for well over twenty.

A smug, cocky club with a thick gobshite owner,
He slags off the Blues and you all get a boner.
You think that we're jealous but I promise it's pity,
We're Blue and we'll always be Birmingham City.

Weirdos

I never knew Carol Ann Duffy was a Nose.

They've rhymed semi with twenty.
What kind of animals are these people?

Don't you know the difference between prose and poetry? However awkward the syntax is, the sentiment is in the right place.

The clapper boards are a massive own goal, no doubt about it. They will be your only crumb of comfort today, so make the most of it. Knock yourselves out.

Going in next hour - decent transport for once.  ;D
No breaks en route, timed at 2 and a half hours. ;D

Sitting in b-in-l's seat in their 'family stand', wherever that is, our driver will spend half an hour securing his car ... in Small Heath  ;D.... and join his mates in their usual.

Not been in a Cabriolet for about 20 years, I think the journey might be more fun, because I have just a little queasy feeling.

If Bruce, can do this.... I figure Blues are down. If they fluke a win...so what ?

 :D

You may not be familiar with the team, but you won't be able to forget them after today. 2-0 to blues. Adams will skin Terry and Kief will boss the midfield. Don't forget to bring your tissues with you.

I thought the noses needed the tissues so they could w*nk themselves silly with excitement over getting to see the club they care about more than their own play live.

Yeah great for you Nose being up this early but what about the nurse who has to get up with you.

She doesn't mind.

She is his mum.

Hutton, Snodgrass, Whelan and Kodge, none of whom like to be pushed around.

Finally,  a sentiment which I agree with. They're all perfectly capable of manuvering their own wheelchairs.

I've always wondered if people who post on other clubs forums have any friends.

Looks like a 5th form attempt at couplets to me.  Prose, as I'm sure you know,  doesn't have structure.

Also you should use better rather than best in a comparison of two things.

We really should educate the working classes a little better.

If the unthinkable does happen, it will be a massive kick in the knackers. It won't define our season though, we shall just dust ourselves down, get back up and go again in the next match.
If we win, we'll be 8 points off the play offs, with another 30 odd games to play for. Be careful what you wish for.
