My sister used to work at the sorting office in Newtown and sat in the canteen next to Paul Birch, who became a postman after retiring from football

I had a part time job in a cafe in Erdington.  Ray Graydon came in one day and had a bacon and egg sandwich.  I wasn't working that day. Alun Evans came in on another day I wasn't working.

I'm disappointed that there is only one other Bilderberg on H&V.

From Handsworth to Elite. Hah.

I suspect it’s down to my immaculate musical taste and the fact that most of the people I know are teachers.

I think I lost points for not noting listening to or visiting anything to do with music or the arts...

My Dad's joke - from a more innocent age - was that we were so poor the travellers used to report us to the council.

Apologies if that strikes an offensive chord in these more enlightened times but it is a true story.

Depending on whether you go with the Cheltenham, London or Wolverhampton branch of the family, they would be Gypos, Pikey's or Tatters, Brian. So no offence taken here.
