And they're all dead hard real lads and we're all a bunch of jessies. How very quaint.

It's like LSD is being added to their water supply.

Wolverhampton has a water supply?

Got to get water to the horses somehow.

They're on another planet.

They must have meant The Vale aka Burslem whom they have played more than us in recent times.

I've said this before but Wolves fans are more fickle than most. If they win two, they're going up. If they lose two, get rid of the manager. Other than that, I don't mind them all that much. They're much more bearable than the other two who seem to hate us more than they like themselves.

2-0 Wolves. One (or four) swallows do not a summer make.

But a Bukkake party it does :)

There's at least 16 Villa in the upper tier above the away end that I know of, so we're doing our bit to sell out for them.
I know of a fair few in there aswell.

Hopefully the atmosphere is better this season in our end. It was horrendous last season, one of the worst aways I've done, although not having a shot didn't help and that away end is crap.

Rubbish away stand, and villa fans split between 2 stands and 3 tiers didn't exactly help. Nor did going 1 down early on. The stand on the sideline is hard to make an atmosphere because of its curved effect means you're so spread out.

Quite. We get a lot of stick for it, deservedly so most of the time, but Wolves really are on another planet. They signed a polish lad called Zyro a few years ago and he scored a hattrick on his debut, I had 3 of them tell me he was going to go on and play for Madrid or Barca one day, two weeks later he was shite and not fit for their reserves.

There was a great atmosphere for the Robbie Keane game, one of my favourite Villa away games.

I like Molinuex as a ground, much better than the awful warehouse grounds like Reading that are f***ing miles away from the town centre.

I don't usually look forward to televised games (for obvious reasons) but hopeful of a good performance and a positive result.

They are going well so think it will be a hard fought draw - will go for 1-1 with Kodjia for us and some Portugese chap for them

You’re talking about Wolverhampton, where the opening of a new Debenhams is the spectacle of a lifetime.

And they're having HS2 extended to Wolverhampton.
Give them something new to point at.

To put it into context, with hindsight the most sadly deluded/optimistic we were was when Randy arrived and we were talking about worldwide marketing, IMG signing us the best players and would we be better off extending Villa Park to hold 55,000 or moving. But, and this is the big difference, at that time we were an established Premier League club who were regulars in Europe and had some top-class players. Wolves have spent more time in the past 33 years in the bottom two divisions than in the top one.

I'm pretty sure Wolves v Villa was the second televised live league game when it all started back in 1983. 1-1.
It was, and the headlines the following day read 'snore bore'!!

"When Villa won the league in 1981 and followed it up with the European title they took the mantle of the west midlands biggest club, no argument possible, but for 60 years before that Wolves were the top club in the region by a mile , 3 league titles, 2 fa cups, 2 league cups and a European final to Villa's I fa cup and 2 league cups (I don't count their 1961 as we didn't enter). Most of Villas history was between 1890 and 1920 fact !"

If you don't count the trophies before Wolves one a thing or two, they were a bigger club...
