I think he can be blamed for sticking with a holding midfielder for 42 mins vs 10 men
Certainly, but the lack of urgency, misplaced/ sliced passes and dithering probably wasn't in his plan.

The trouble for Bruce is that he's maxed his goodwill overdraft.
