Terry, so far, is like a band on their 10th greatest hits tour, plodding out the same tracks over and over and just 'phoning them in' as they say. Hope it improves.

I note from his Instagram this morning that he was back in London having egg on toast for breakfast so I presume the team are not training today or part of his deal was that he only does selected days?

I doubt they'd do much by way of training today with a game tomorrow and arguably still only on the second rest-day after Saturday's game.

As for Terry not being that bothered on the pitch, could he be happy to let things drift with half an eye on the managers job?

That's a good analogy. I thought he'd be like the Rolling Stones - past his best, still doing it for the money but giving his all every time. Instead he's more like Dylan on a bad day.
