Happy to see those changes, aside from Gardner but maybe he can score from a free kick before he is subbed at half time.

That's Oscar Borg in for Richards as the only difference between the match day squad and the facebook leak on the pre-match thread. interesting.
You thinking what I'm thinking? fingers crossed it's not an injury neither.

Not exactly a massive endorsement for Richards given he can't even make the squad for this one unless he's got a move or (more likely) injured again.

Blimey 11 changes have no idea how they will line up

Bruce probably doesn't either.

To my shame, I've stuck a wee bet on Wigan at 3ish-1. In my defence, this could be seen as a positive in terms of Villa's prospects.

Not happy with that line-up! Be surprised if we get through tonight.....
Just checked Wigan's line-up from Saturday - They've also made 11 changes. Friday night's game more important and we ain't gonna win this Cup in my opinion, so I'm in favour of giving the kids a go and putting certain players in the ship window hopefully. Anyone know if McCormack's made it over the fence to the dressing room ?

Of their team I have only heard of Will Grigg. And Luke Burgess, although he was a rugby player when I had heard of him....

I'm pleased that Wigan have done that. If they had taken this serious it could have been embarrassing. If we're still capable of being embarrassed, that is.

3-0 to Villa reserves!
