Match day drink at VP
« on: August 14, 2017, 05:37:14 PM »
What are the choices for getting a drink in the Holte pub or one of the lounges at VP on a match day? I have a ST in Holte?

Cheers

Get there at least an hour and a half before kick and you'll be fine

Holte Suite fine at half time as long as you head down a couple of minutes early. It is rare I buy a drink in the ground but the walk and a piss is often a welcome distraction from the guff on the pitch.  And a must do to warm up a bit in the winter.

Drink as much as you possibly can. It's the only way.

The Holte Pub is now for Lions Club Members only and there seems to be some kind of ticketing system.

Just as well I am variously Faroese, German, Shakespeare and Knowle & Dorridge Lions club members then!

P.s. I forgot Black Country and Gloucestershire!

Come to the Barton's.  There must be somebody I have not told how I saw Laurel and Hardy at the Aston Hippodrome.  I am the old one clutching a packet of Stanley blades.

So silly question - as a new ST holder, I can now get into the Holte Suite then? Are there any other bars a ST can get access to too?

Yes, you can. I think it can also get you into the Holte Pub if the Lions Clubs are not in there and even then they'd probably let you in anyway.
