Shocked there's only 8 pages. Suppose we're all accustomed to this now

On the way back to Bournemouth in the minibus. Another utterly depressing performance. It could get very messy at Reading for Bruce if we play like today. I'm going in hope but absolutely no expectations. We seem cursed!

Only saw first half and a bit of the second as we had a mouse shaped visitor i've been trying and failing to catch all afternoon

Things I knew at 1-0

Hutton, Lansbury and Gabby are all fucking shit.

Things I know at full time

Hutton, Lansbury and Gabby are all fucking shit.

Not all their fault of course, but when three of the eleven are THAT bad it doesn't take a genius to work out what will happen

Whilst i'm not 100% Bruce is 'the man' for the job. People have got to start asking questions of the players. It's no good keep claiming Bruce has ruined them, that's just ridiculous. Where's their effort, pride, professionalism ?

And we also need to ask questions of the board/owner. Do they really think this squad with it's Dads Army recruits is going to walk the league ?

I know it's only two games in, and i'm in no way calling for anyone's head. But it is already looking a tad shambolic

We aren't cursed. We are just poorly managed.

After our last Championship game away last season - Blackburn - Keith Wyness said he had never been so angry about a performance from a team he works with. Steve Bruce described it as "unacceptable" and yet in our very next Championship away game we produce a performance that SB says is "on the edge of embarrassing" and goes on "Arguably that's the biggest doing I can remember having in the Championship". I'm not sure where you go from there. 2 straight away games separated by a close season and a number of new signings producing 2 totally inept yet similar performances.

to lose ok, well no not ok with the faith being shown in Bruce, if anything like today happens Tuesday, then severe reprimand something in the lines of.

This is not acceptable and tell me we will now go unbeaten for the rest of August.

Insightful. Good reminder. Even with the best will to the guy this isnt a blip. Its just a continuation of a downward trend for Bruce. Its not getting better.

Fulham managed to pick up a point at Reading today whilst playing over 90 minutes with only 10 men. It should be a walk in the park.

I have to admit up till now I have been an SB believer but the lack of real progress since he took over is worrying. We have added to the squad considerably but results and tactics seem to be still all over the place.

You can only imagine how Bruce will set us up on Tuesday.
