You know what Ads, I've been wondering as well if Bruce will switch to a 4-5-1 for the trickier away games.  I can see it to be honest and think that if you change Hourihane and Adomah in the above side for Lansbury and Agbonlahor, then I think you might have it.

I'd have Green in for Adomah for a bit more balance, but that's looks like our strongest front six. I don't think we've had two central midfielders that can play as a two since Milner and Petrov, so three in the middle is an absolute must. It's the only way we'll control the match for long enough to hang on to a lead, which is ultimately how most of our matches go.

I can see this being another draw though. We'll certainly have a good idea of how many of our team are up for a long fight for promotion after this one.

I'd love to see Green given a consistent run in the side.

It's been reported that he might miss out tomorrow with a groin injury, which is a disappointment. I like his speed, skill and unpredictability.

It did cross my mind at times in the second half last week, when it appeared that Whelan was running in treacle.

Sort of has 0-0 written all over it.  Two well organised sides, early season game, probably be intense.  Just hope we don't go too negative and end up being penned back into our half for a lot of match.  Hope we nick something on the break, but another draw this early in the season from a tricky away fixture would be no bad thing.

I think we are setting a dangerous precedent if we take this approach. We then have Reading away who finished top 6 last season so could then say away from home that a draw would be another good result. Before you know if we have played 3 won 0 and only got 3 points on the board.
