To be fair I thought some of our second string players looked good. Closer than it should have been but job done. Good job. Steer in particular looked great.

This time last year we didn't have a point in the league and we were knocked out of the cup by Luton....so I guess we're better, sort of.

Two well matched sides.  Colchester don't spend much and poor Steve Bruce is obviously working under League One conditions. Good result for plucky Aston Villa.
