Really good half Villa, shame we're not a few more up. Now, will the team of two halves turn up?
Agree.

Should really be another goal or two up with how dominant we've been. Hull have been abysmal

Oh and while his arrival sparked a lively debate, our defence in that first half just felt so assured knowing a guy with his experience was in it. I thought he did the little things well - vocal, cleared when needed, composed - the things we have missed for some time

Good half that especially considering who we're missing. Looks like a very composed back line with terry and Chester in the middle.

Really enjoyed that

Got to get the second we deserve

Gabby and the defence and to a lesser extent hogan and gabby look great

Whelan nowhere near the level of last weekend

The midfielders just need to play the ball through more instead of going out wide when there is no need for it. Hogan especially should be having a field day by the amount of space they're giving him.

Hands up, I didn't want JT, both as a player, I am / was unsure due to age and lack of playing time and, well its John Terry, said on here, at work, in the pub. Hope he shows me he how wrong I can be

Whelan looks a solid solid presence in midfield. Hogan - you can see theres a goalscorer there, need a bit more luck. Not sure about Gabby on left but heck its working so far. And Hutton is immense as usual.
