That was a weak booking as well, this far into the game. I'm not sure what Whelan could have done to get out of the way, his studs weren't up either.

Agreed. Two non bookings. I never noticed Whelan playing for Stoke nor so far for Villa today. So, he must be the very best of unsung heroes. Going to try hard to see him until half time.
