Weren't we trying to sign him last summer? It would be a great signing if it happens and he'd provide a genuine goal threat with the right service.

Not sure why Hull would let him go, but a quick Google search suggests Blose are also in for him and trying to meet his reported £10m release fee.

Would be a decent signing but can't see it myself. Looks like (sadly) he's only playing one up top and we have Hogan, Gabby, and Kodija to come back...McCormack still on the books atm, RHM waiting in the wings too. (edit, think the doc has already rubbished the rumour on twitter)

I can't see us having four £10m plus strikers and playing one at a time most games. Plus i'd rather use RHM and Davis if Kodjia or Hogan are injured. If we are spending 10m on a player then it'd be more beneficial to get some creativity in to supply the strikers already at the club.

if it is correct, we would be signing him before Saturday as we need someone upfront so I don't believe it.

Only because of that you don't believe it?

This sort of stuff can stay in the stickied transfer thread until something credible appears.
