Haven’t watched a game of hurling in years, that was a great watch and the commentators sounded engrossed in the game which feeds through to the viewers.

I don't think it was a good performance by Tipperary, how many wides did they miss first half? Cork just handed the game to them on a plate. Cork have been a bunch if spineless bottlers ever since that stupid strike 15 years ago. A bit like the Irish football team since Saipan.

Wow, I haven't seen a turnaround like that since 'the five minute final' in 1994 and even that was a quick spell at the end. The second Tipp goal was a thing of beauty.

Tipp played well in the second-half, but were helped by Cork who definitely didn't have the rub of the green. I really don't know what happened and wonder if the "killer" goal before half-time led them to switch off a bit. Maybe it was just not meant to be as....

The Open Championship has been held in Royal Portrush on 3 occasions, 1951, 2019, & 2025. In each of those years, Tipperary have won The All-Ireland Hurling Championship.

Yeah, the commentators are good on BBC and their enthusiasm is infectious. Much prefer their coverage to RTE's.

If you ever get a chance, you should go to a big game at Croke Park. Tickets for the hurling semi-finals are readily available, and it's far more impressive in the flesh.
