Cork can’t get near Limerick at all, Limerick are the best hurlers at the moment.

Abbeyfealeavfc a great weekend for you!!👍

I'm not that find of Hurling; mainly because I struggle to see the ball but this has me riveted. Sensational is how I would describe Limerick in that first half.

Yes, I'm a Cork man, but this Limerick team are brilliant.

While Mayo are probably the sentimental favourites I'm happy to play the miserable Ulsterman and hope Tyrone bring Sam north.

I give a slight edge to Tyrone but if Mayo don't win it this year then when? Even I might start believing in the curse.

Also we may be in Roscommon who are their rivals and yet every 2nd house on the road to Dublin has a Mayo flag outside it which is one aspect of GAA culture that's very different to soccer. Very much a case of 'Up the West, eff the rest' when a Connacht team is playing in the Big Smoke.

Failure to take chances? Playing well and losing? Fucked by Tyrone?

The symmetry between 5pm and 7.30pm was spooky.

And shit.

No symmetry, we're not cursed. ;)

I sensed about 10 mins in that Tyrone would win it. No real mystery, better, cuter team on the day won but missing penalties doesn't help.

Feel sorry for my mate though, 5th time in a decade he's done a 10,000 mile round trip home for the final to no avail.

Failure to take chances and running out of steam and know-how resulted in the usual result for Mayo.
70 years and counting. Imagine the party when Mayo do finally win the All-Ireland.

Looks like I'll have to as I may not be alive when it does happen.

Worst performance in a final since 2006.  I dont think we have the players. O Sé is over the hill. Walsh, Plunkett, Hession not good enough. Nothing on the bench. Long drive home yesterday. Again.

70 years? Pffft. Try following Monaghan. One, single, solitary, lone, miserable final over 90 years ago.

...and of course being Villa fans it's 64 years and counting since we've seen an FA cup win. It's amazing just how many curses are going around ;)

And Kerry beat Mayo in the League Final. Mayo have  lot to do before Championship.

Poor showing from them today. Pleasantly surprised with the Rossies' win, any bit of national silverware is welcome for a small county. Still have Mayo as favourites for Connacht but there's a lot to be said for only having to win one big match in Connacht and we don't have to go to Castlebar this year.
