Good stuff as usual Dave.
I'm coming over from Australia for a family trip and going to the Norwich game on 19th August.
I've booked the train seats and accommodation in Brum for that weekend but am wondering when I will get the chance to buy a couple of tickets for the match!

Am in the same boat. Kept checking the ticketing site, seeing only the Watford friendly for sale, and thinking they're cutting it a bit fine. Want to take my lad for his first game on the 19th.

Unless I'm mis-remembering the film, isn't the player bursting out of the trophy Alien-style rather than Omen-style?

I remember an impalement on a church weather vane and decapitation via a sheet of glass, but not much bursting going on.

Good read Dave, I'm also checking the website for when the tickets go on sale.

I still don't know why there's a trophy of Barry Bannan bursting out of a ball.

It reminded me of the World Trade Centre Sphere sculpture...after 9/11.
