The least they could do is own up to the problems, not try to make it sound it was planned. Some people will have been paying for these since May, not good.

Does anyone know if we still get 10% off in the club shop if you have a season ticket?

Nope we've outsourced the merchandising.
So one of the few perks of have a season ticket has been taken away. This gets better and better.

It does seem really mean of the club not to insist on keeping the 10% discount when outsourcing it, even for PR reasons.

Do we know what the rewards programme includes yet?  It may have discounts on merchandise as part of that?

Fortunately mine has arrived today. I certainly would have been very unhappy if there had been a need to queue up on Saturday.
I feel that Villa should give a free home Cup match tckt to anybody who has to queue for their season ticket or even give them a free team shirt.
People should not have to re arrange their pre match habits due to rank bad planning by the club.

My surname begins with O and I live in leafy cheshire so I'm not sure what that means. It arrived today.

My surname begins with B and I live in the very fashionable area of Duxford, still waiting...:)

Anyone who knows Ellesmere Port will know I was being ironic...its more of a north west version of Middlesbrough😂

That is quite unfair........on Middlesbrough.

I remember leaving my wallet ooop narf with my season ticket and any other form of ID the other year. They were very good with a re-print and took about 30 seconds.

They've taken away one of the other perks as well - AVTV match commentary, free in the past, now £3 a game or £45 for a season

Just arrived, with a badge which I won't use and some bumf about using it like a debit card which I won't use it for.  I'm just glad to have it for its sole purpose.
Used on in Allianz Arena. Was quite handy buying beer - much quicker refills :)

making the season ticket into a prepaid card as well just seems unnecessarily over engineered as why when you can use cash, your own credit / debit card and even your mobile phone would you use your season ticket to pay for stuff.  Also I can't see how it'll be any quicker then paying using your contactless debit / credit card.

Well, it was the only method to purchase the beer. Several ways to fill up, but around the serving, that was the only method and speeds up the process.

But that clearly isn't the case here otherwise only season ticket holders would be able to buy stuff in the stadium and that'd be stupid.  So I still can't see why we have done it,  it is making the club look amateur and can you imagine what it will look like in front of the Sky cameras if we can't get into the stadium because of them on Saturday

So....it's so that you can build up loyalty points for buying beer and chips and things like that. If you buy beer with cash, or your own debit card, they will never know you spent money in Villa Park, but if you load that money onto your season ticket to spend it, then they will know you loyally buy your shit beer at Villa and they will award you points which make prizes. So - that was worth waiting for wasn't it?

No

Received mine yesterday but with my old seat details on. So looking like I'm gonna have to cancel my plans for tomorrow daytime in order to get there early enough to go and sort it out, as can't get through on the phones at the moment. Absolutely useless.
