Just arrived, with a badge which I won't use and some bumf about using it like a debit card which I won't use it for.  I'm just glad to have it for its sole purpose.
Used on in Allianz Arena. Was quite handy buying beer - much quicker refills :)

making the season ticket into a prepaid card as well just seems unnecessarily over engineered as why when you can use cash, your own credit / debit card and even your mobile phone would you use your season ticket to pay for stuff.  Also I can't see how it'll be any quicker then paying using your contactless debit / credit card.

Well, it was the only method to purchase the beer. Several ways to fill up, but around the serving, that was the only method and speeds up the process.

But that clearly isn't the case here otherwise only season ticket holders would be able to buy stuff in the stadium and that'd be stupid.  So I still can't see why we have done it,  it is making the club look amateur and can you imagine what it will look like in front of the Sky cameras if we can't get into the stadium because of them on Saturday

some 400 Coventry fans are still anxiously waiting for their season tickets, apparently. i was amazed they actually had four hundred fans.

Perhaps it meant they were worried that their tickets WOULD turn up?

Our season "cards" came today along with our parking permit.

I don't know what all the concern was about, you need a little faith that's all

Apparently the last of the season tickets were posted today. I've picked up a couple of replacement tickets today from the ticket office. Thought they might be busy but it was very quiet indeed.

Hell will freeze over before we find a way of getting served a beer without queuing for the whole of half time.

Hell will freeze over before we get served a decent pint.

If you’re yet to receive your season card, don’t worry, they are on the way to you right now!

However, if you don’t receive your season card in time for our opener against Hull City, we have plans in place.

If you haven’t received your season card by the time you check your post on Saturday, first off, we apologise for the inconvenience this causes for you.

You won’t have to miss the game – just head to Villa Park to pick up paper tickets on this one-off occasion.

We have three dedicated windows for these season ticket reprints – they will be clearly signed and open from 9am.

There will be a separate queue management system and it will be manned by experienced staff.

Our Fan Squad will be walking up and down the queue to answer any of your queries as you wait.

Just remember to have your Fan ID ready for when you reach the window!

You’ll then receive a paper ticket and you’re ready to watch the boys in claret and blue against the Tigers.

Our advice is to arrive well of advance of 4pm to pick up your replacement tickets to avoid congestion.

I'd like to know what's so "innovative" about them.

So....it's so that you can build up loyalty points for buying beer and chips and things like that. If you buy beer with cash, or your own debit card, they will never know you spent money in Villa Park, but if you load that money onto your season ticket to spend it, then they will know you loyally buy your shit beer at Villa and they will award you points which make prizes. So - that was worth waiting for wasn't it?

Does anyone know if we still get 10% off in the club shop if you have a season ticket?
