I havent had mine yet and will have limited phone access tomorrow

Add to that the possibility of having to change your arrangements on sat to queue for a ticket you started paying for months ago then people are entitled to be pissed off

My friend phoned and was told they weren't sure they would have them all out on time so were sending paper tickets out first class yesterday. Not sure if that's for everyone or just those that phoned up to chase.

His ST had arrived by the time he got home from work, anyway.

Just arrived...thank f**k!
I'm off to see family today and will be taking them to the game from up their end so getting it any later than now would have been something of an ironic disaster...I'd have tickets for them but no season ticket for myself!
Why the f**k have they left it so late?

Is there no way we could piggy back on to this print@home facility for the first game?

Our's arrived today but it is a catalog of issues over the summer months. The Germany pre-season 3rd game was not greatly organized with the game being given a venue really late then cancelled then rearranged then the weather go it, some might not be Villa's fault but the lack of coordination between different departments in the club was very transparant .Those of us with flights and accommodation were left with little time to sort.

The kit was late as always but again a symptom of lack of organization.

The season tickets and online  booking as we know is a ridiculous situation which leaves fans mad, phone lines rammed and casual fans and season ticket holders unable to get away tickets or more home tickets easily or without frustration.  It should not be a chore to spend money at the club, they have made us work to do even the simplest of transactions.

Our 3 away scheme places I can only assume are ok. After my 35 phone minute wait yesterday all they could tell me was if they have taken the £25 per member fee that it should be fine, no confirmation from the computer system they have, so I can only assume it is not fully keyed in yet. They have not taken any money for tickets when others have already bought. So who knows if one of the major pluses of being an away scheme member is being kept i.e we get the most central and best away tickets and housed as a group as many of us have been doing this for years and stand with the same ones every year. They were even late arranging the scheme due to them potentially changing the rules but in the end not bothering.

As I said if it was one issue fine but it seems there has been multiple this year which a lot could have been easily been avoided

I do SO hope mine comes. The prospect of a Saturday without sitting in the Scheduled Ancient Roadworks previously known as A14 Girton to Godmanchester, the Spittals Interchange, M6 Js 5,6 and 7 is terrifying.  Imagine having to sit at home in an armchair, enough alcohol to bath a small elephant and watch the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood. Doesn't bear thinking about.

Mines not arrived yet, if it doesn't arrive in time I'll be watching on the TV because I sure as hell will not be going early to queue as Saturday is going to be frustrating enough with the inevitable traffic chaos.

For me personally it can land in Saturday post but it is poor that everything is so last minute, they'd have been better off issuing paper tickets to all 2 weeks ago and then sending the season cards out all together next Monday ready for game 2.

Concerned Aston Villa fans have been given this season-ticket update

Thousands of supporters are still waiting for their season cards to arrive

Aston Villa fans who are yet to receive their season-tickets for the 2017/18 campaign have been told to rest assured.

Over 3,000 season cards are expected to arrive on doorsteps today ahead of the campaign opener against Hull City, the club have confirmed.

Supporters have been concerned that their cards wouldn't arrive in time for the kick-off at Villa Park on Saturday but the club are working around the clock to get the issue resolved.

On the official website today, a note explained the reason for the hold-up in delivery, which read:

Due to innovative new technology contained within the season card, delivery has been late this year – we can only apologise for that, but there will be benefits to the new systems in place that make access to Villa Park a little more seemless.

For example, the season card is for a period of three seasons and can also be used to top up cash onto the card which can theh be used at any of the contactless payment terminals around Villa Park.

Some supporters who are yet to receive their tickets have contacted owner Tony Xia asking for answers.

He replied via Twitter yesterday with the following updates:

"As we initiated the new ST card&ticketing system, it maybe takes a little more time 2implement new system well.Thanks4ur understanding.

"We aimed to set up a new Villan online/offline system to provide better service by knowing everyone's needs more accurately&efficiently."

TO implement.  FOR YOUR understanding.  Do not attempt to communicate if you have no command of or respect for the English language. Dolt.

This was in a Tweet from Tone. Therefore, it could have been worse. It could have all been in algebraic symbols or emojis

Mine has arrived (well I haven't opened it) but something has landed.  My biggest concern was having to cut short the pre match social to queue up for a ticket.
