If Southampton win at Everton this evening it is between Albion and Swansea.

As it stands Southampton have 32 points with 3 games to play, Swansea have 33 points with 2 games to play and Albion have 31 points with one game to play. After today Southampton have Swansea away and Man City at home. Swansea are at home to Southampton and Stoke and Albion go to Palace. I reckon Swansea will do enough and it will come down to Southampton and Albion. We need to be cheering on Southampton tonight, Swansea when they play Southampton in midweek and if they both win those games Palace against Albion is irrelevant.

Incorrect. The magic number is 34. If Southampton win then they’ll be on 35 points meaning Baggies are relegated.

In addition, only a draw between Swansea vs Southampton (think they play Tuesday) will keep Baggies in contention on the final day. A win for either team sends Baggies down.

If it comes down to the last day, then Swansea just need to beat relegated Stoke at home. Will Stoke even try to win against Swansea on the final day to save Baggies?

I'm watching the Southampton game. It's fuckin' terrible.

I have got SKY but not BT so I am listening to it on Talksport.  Apparently the Southampton sponsors subsidized a discount on the match tickets and the coach travel and they still didn't sell out their allocation for a vital game like this.

On a brighter note I am loving these league one late kick offs as I still have a live bet going after my earlier ones crashed and burned. I was about to get on my high horse about the Coventry fiasco costing me money and planning a personal protest march on the football league headquarters until I realised Mansfield also let me down.

To be fair Matt Sammerface and Micky Gray on Talksport aren't trying to play it up as better than it is. Sammerface summed up the first half as "lacking action".

It's so bad I've turned over to the Womens Cup Final on BBC1. Which, as we all know, is being shown because it's too hot for Monkey Tennis.
