Good battling by the carrier bags. But, it's only a stay of execution.

The Albion are going to escape, you just know it.  I Agree re Darren Moore, the bloke definitely deserves a crack as manager somewhere.

They still need quite a bit to go their way

Coventry 0 Morecambe 0. Coventry qualify for the play offs and Morecambe stay up and both sets of fans celebrating together. It remains to be seen if the powers that be look into the circumstances and the way the game was played out.

According to the BBC's Final Score programme Coventry and Morecambe are recreating West Germany v Austria 1982 and settling for a result that will suit both of them. Apparently a draw takes Coventry into the play offs and keeps Morecambe up.

That was exactly what popped into my head when I was listening too

According to reports both teams were just passing it around their own halves. 3 shots on target all game.

Need Swansea and Southampton to draw on Tuesday.

Need Swansea not to beat already relegated Stoke at home. Edit: Swansea would have to lose to Stoke if they draw with Southampton.

Need to win away to Palace who haven't lost for ages and won their last home game 5-0.

Nailed on.

Coventry have previous... A Sunderland fan I knew as a student was still livid the best part of a decade later about how on the last game of 76/77 the Cities of Coventry and Bristol contrived to save themselves and send Sunderland down.

One upside of Sandwell surviving is that the Wolves plane would look even more pathetic.
