Why don’t Roma have a shirt sponsor?

3-0 with just a few mins left in the first leg, what Man City would give for a Dalian Atkinson now...

The first time I've watched a non-Villa game this season. What sport is it that they're playing?

Just thinking the same. Scares the shit out of me wondering what would happen if our team now played one of these teams.

Its terrifying

Apparently they have not had one for the past 5 seasons. Reason being that they are asking too much money circa £20M a season and no one is willing to pay that.

Bit depressing the gap even between the top end of the Premier League and teams in 10th-12th. There's a looong way and about a hundred million quid to go..

Actually did some reading on this. Apparently they wanted to tie the shirt sponsorship to the equipment being used at the stadium and they fucked it up.

Roma shirt sponsor story

And I’m sure your bit is true too as they tried to make up lost revenues by asking for too much, compounding the issue

Think Man City misunderstood my request to make sure the tie is all over tonight.

Man City have lost to Wigan this season. Liverpool have lost to WBA...you never know we might get a couple of draws against them next year.

My step dad has had a season ticket at Anfield since the late sixties. He said the first half last night was the best 45 mins he had ever seen his team play. I despise the bin dippers but have to say his happy little face cheered me up this morning

I wonder if that corridor for the coaches actually has any effect? Certainly gets the Dippers whipped up.

My next door neighbours ( who never go the game despite we only live about 10 miles from Anfield) held a party last night with loads of kids screaming and shouting - the adults were no better
I too hate the club with a passion but I have a begrudging respect for their record in European games
