The LA derby looks like it's been a decent game.

Galaxy 3-0 down to win 4-3 with two last goals scored by their sub, Zlatan something or other.

See Barcelona scored two late goals to draw 2-2 in Seville. Why can't Villa do that :'(

'Your Welcome' ;)

I have to admit I admired his chutzpah on that one.

Why couldn't Barcelona score three late goals to draw 3-3 in Birmingham?

Probably because they couldn't bring Messi on as a sub like they did today.

Zlat’s first goal was superb but his second was offside

Stoke 3 down at Arsenal.  No doubt another ‘excellent’ performance where they ‘cud nay be fulted.’

Actually they were quite good and 3-0 is very flattering to Arsenal. This is lining up to be Lambert's first actual relegation unless he manages to get himself sacked in the next couple of weeks.

Mark Hughes is all set to emulate Billy McNeill. Stoke and Southampton both will be relegated.

It’s thoroughly depressing watching the PL on the back of watching our lot lately and realizing just how pedestrian we are and literally how far we are behind that standard.

Manager Paul Lambert said: "I thought we were excellent and looked really good but Arsenal got the penalty. It was a game changer.

"I saw Craig Pawson after the game. I respect the referee but he has not got the benefit of television. He explained they only have one major angle to have a look at it.

"Do I have sympathy with the referee? I don't know. It was harsh on us because I thought we were great. I've been here a few times and won, but we haven't played as well as that.

Not sure about Southampton, having Charlie Austin back is a major boost for them. Along with Albion, reckon it will 2 from Stoke, Saints and Huddersfield.

You can just imagine him saying that, word for word when he managed us. Complete and utter nonsense.

Not a good season for stripeys!

A few weeks back all the trapdoor-threatened clubs were stripeys - the above, plus Newcastle, Palace and Bournemouth.
