I have zero faith in Southgate getting anything special out of this team. In the absence of a superstar player we need a good manager and he is far from that. Last 16 at best.

McLeish Out.

I never thought I would live to see the day that a Scotland side lost to Costa Rica.
Or Sudan.

Bloody hell: Lee Bowyer takes charge of Charlton ... still cannot expunge feelings of total revulsion when he is mentioned.

Still can’t believe he and Woodgate escaped prison.
Yep, crazy.

I put the radio on at one stage last night and heard mention of a player called Joe Gomez, I had never heard of him, I've reached that stage in life and interest where I don't know players who playfor England. I then heard the voice of Danny Mills so turned the radio off.

That made me laugh. As did the news that Yeovil have had their game today postponed as they have had five players called up for international duty. Just to clarify, Yeovil have five players who are international footballers. I will take a punt that at least one of them plays for Gibraltar.

As the jury were deliberating my mate spent the weekend with one of Woodgate's defence team, the reason he looked so gaunt and missed a lot of matches was because he had been prepared for a prison sentence, think even his defence were surprised he escaped a custodial sentence.

From what I remember from reading Peter Risdale's book Bowyer seemed to sail through the whole thing without appearing to have a care in the world and carried on playing whilst Woodgate seemed to have an emotional breakdown of sorts.

It is currently Uganda 2 Sao Tome And Principe 0. I must have missed that game when I was selecting my bets for the day.

I'm surprised neither SKY or BT are showing it live.

Harrogate Town are winning 1-0 at half time and Salford are 2-0 down against Kidderminster, if stays the same Harrogate go top, level on points, game in hand and far superior goal difference.

As I'm sure Chris Jameson is about to post, Wolves Head Coach, Nuno Espírito Santo is from São Tome And Principe.
