Bloody hell: Lee Bowyer takes charge of Charlton ... still cannot expunge feelings of total revulsion when he is mentioned.

Still can’t believe he and Woodgate escaped prison.

Watching Carlos Sanchez knocking it around vs France. Didn’t realize he now plays for Espanyol having join on loan from Fiorentina.

McLeish Out.

I never thought I would live to see the day that a Scotland side lost to Costa Rica.

He was throwing around chairs and racial abuse in the early hours as he was told he could only order from the breakfast menu at that time of the morning. He was with mates in a taxi. What is it with taxis, McDonalds and footballers?

Costa Rica who beat Italy and Uruguay and drew with England to top their WC group.Meanwhile in other games, most pundits are praising England's performance.Am I the only one to think England were dismal against a shambolic Dutch side ? We were praised for circulating the ball,a euphemism for passing it wide and then passing it back to a central defender to pass it wide and...The only one -twos were played between Henderson and his 3 central defenders.Henderson the creative passer ,the Pirlo of the side.Remind me how many caps did Sid win ?
And then another imbalance,Sterling,Lindegard and Rashford all decent players but play with a constant rush as if the ball is a hot potato,oh for a bit of calm,a Wilshere or a Grealish, and also a steadiness  or focal point in front of goal,a Vardy.
Southgate seems all theory, possession at all costs even if it puts our goal at risk, and little pragmatism,a believer in youth or really in those that have played under him.A total opposite to Steve Bruce.I'm one of those in the Bruce out camp but I'd have more faith in him than Southgate .

I thought England played well. Admittedly against a Dutch line up that is possibly the weakest I have ever seen.

England’s was weak too, but they played like a team and for the first time in god knows how long they don’t have 5 or 6 dislikeable characters in their midst.

We won’t score many with that formation though.
