Southampton at Wigan. Think will be a few goals on this. Take over 2.5 there. Also I see Alex Bruce is on bench for Wigan.

Southampton have 2 up top so look like Hughes wants to have an attack the weather could well be a factor though match like this tadic usual shows up.

On their day have match winners. Tadic score anytime at 4/1 decent.

How he's got the brass neck to complain about dirty tricks and cheating after his masterminding Sheffield United getting that game against the bogeyes abandoned all those years ago I don't know.

Mark Hughes has left Forster, Ward-Prowse, Redmond and Long on the bench. You would think with it being his first game in charge, a cup quarter final and a game they need to win to boost confidence for the relegation battle he would have gone with his strongest starting eleven.

I'd forgotten about that, I think they should deduct a couple more points from Cardiff for that as well. And I don't recall Fulham or Wolves condemning it at the time. They ought to be penalised too.

Long and Forster have been poor this season but you deffo have a point about Redmond and Ward-Prowse

Not paid that much attention to them but Foster hasn’t been first choice keeper for a while, Long has scored one goal in 10 years and Redmond hasn’t been a regular starter as far as I can gather and hadn’t been very good when he does play. I haven’t a clue what Ward-Prowse looks like or does.

Wigan play better football than us. Like watching Barcelona.

Sourhampton are giving them plenty of space, but Morsy and Roberts are dominating midfield and make ball retention look easy, compared to us.

Southampton did the job and showed up Wigan lack of end product and ideas. However these 2 teams could be both championship next season. Wigan had done good effort first half but saints seemed to be both lacking confidence and tempo first  half.

Be interesting how Southampton get on league with  away at West ham next match. Massive cup final there.

So it would seem that Southampton may now be having our Sherwood season.

Have Leicester at 22/1 few rounds back.
Playing Chelsea at Home today but can never be sure with both of these teams if be tie of the round or a one sided affair where one team doesn't show.
Both capable of such good and not so good performances.

If they do cancel out then could go to extra time and  pens .

I'll be rooting on Leicester thought both for the financial bet but always fondly look on Albrighton. (where's his England chance!)
