Is it true that Blues are replacing their manager with a monkey on Monday?

They’re bringing Zola back?

Olbyon Look toast and Lambert seems to be drawing his way to relegation as well.

A Brad Guzan howler and he concedes four before half time.

In the MLS.

I think they're a fine footballing side that I really hope we avoid if neither club gain automatic promotion. We've been humiliated twice this season, once away at Wolves and second half away at Fulham. Both quality footballing sides where we had nothing to throw back at them despite our record breaking spending.

I'm hoping your right and they've left it too late but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Totally agree with this.

and Lambert was delighted with how his men held firm.

"We were backs to the walls at times, but we defended strongly. We may have lost this game a month or so ago," he said.

"It's another positive point, and I'm delighted with the team not getting beat. I love it, I love the pressure of it. It's big-time football, and I can't praise the lads enough for their efforts."

Lambert's Stoke will possibly draw their way to safety and the fans will be reasonably happy. Happy until they find that next season they will totally fail to kick on and will just have another season like this one.

Not sure I do. I thought Wolves were decent but a touch of goalie error for one of the goals didn’t help. Fulham we beat easily at home and our weakened team maybe would have won the other week had we scored first.

Wolves may have spent a smidge more than us recently as well. Our record breaking squad includes two players who weren’t signed by the current Manager and don’t play for one reason or another in Kodja and McCormack.

Brentford and Millwall both played better against us

I have no idea how to start a thread, but such sad news about Davide Astori, the Fiorentina captain. A former student of mine when I worked in Italy. A lovely chap. Terrible.

Think he became a father recently too, awful news.

I’m enjoying the Blackburn v Wigan match, decent football and the tackles are flying in. Nick Powell seems to be coming in for some treatment but is just getting on with it and seems to be having a laugh with the Blackburn players.

The lad who scored for Wigan is our next door neighbour’s brother.
