Williams has turned out to be a proper millstone around Everton's neck since his bargain £35M(?) transfer from Swansea.

I rated him at Swansea and I think they turned down a big bid from Arsenal a couple of years back but he has been atrocious for Everton. They clearly bought him when he was past his best and on the way down.

I thought it was about half that, but still about £15m too much.
