Same as every club, it's tickets sold not people through the turnstiles. So if 20K ST holders didn't turn up tonight they'll still be counted in the attendance.

This made me loff from the Beeb.

There were chants of "there's only one Arsene Wenger" from the stands in the final stages but, to add to the Frenchman's misery, those appeared to come from the visiting fans.

The media jungle drums seem to suggest he will be out at the end of the season whether he chooses so or not. I don't really get their ownership structure. They have the American guy and the Russian guy, neither of whom seem to speak publicly and I have no idea how the power/shares are distributed between the two of them or how much communication there is between them.

I was sitting in the North Bank as this is when they were redeveloping the Clock End and they only game Villa something like 500 tickets. There were hundreds (if not thousands) of Villa fans in the North Bank.
Happy memories of this game as it was the last Villa game I watched live before emigrating to New Zealand.
