That’s it, thanks

hope someone likes it now or else I’ve wasted everyone’s time

I read it last night. Very interesting. A sad string of events but told with some humour

Nobody does gallows humour better than football fans.

And the odd ex professional hangman who might still be alive.

Spurs score, no they don't.

VAR is back. Seemed a ridiculous decision and took ages to make.

For the pundits and "experts", know alls, managers that refuse to accept decisions, ref haters and those that cannot handle the fact that humans make mistakes.
You asked for it, you go it, stop fuckin' moaning.

Would have been far cheaper than VAR to get rid of half the camera angles & limit the broadcasters to show an incident in slow motion only once rather than 50 times to try and prove a ref made an error.

Football needs to grow a pair & instead of wibbling about being hard done by all the time accept that like players the referees make errors, it worked fine for 150 years - personally I want to watch a game of football not a VAR box set

5,000 apparently travelled down from Rochdale, so that's 19,000 Spurs fans who've bothered to schlep a few miles around the North Circular.  That should - but, unfortunately, won't - make the allocation of tickets easy were they to make it to the final.

I could have done with either the ref, the linesman, VAR or a random act of God ruling out Rochdale's goal. I had put a few quid on 5-0.

I've only just found out from SKY that they got a sixth in injury time.

Spurs fan and Talksport presenter Paul Hawksby was honest enough to admit on air today that he would have gone if it was at 'The Lane' but couldn't be bothered with the commute to Wembley tonight.

what's more no matter how crap he's become elsewhere I just know that if Benteke ever came back he would start scoring again

I just know it 100%, based on scientific and football knowledge that i have a hunch,a feeling in my water, ive seen it in the stars I'm sure I've even had a couple of dreams about it

so it's basically a true fact that he would instantly become the greatest goalscorer again as soon as he's back wearing claret and blue shirt with a lion on the front

All that is unquestionable fact. End of. FACT!

What is the point of Robbie Savage.....?

"Well Robbie what's Pochettino's thinking in bringing him on when he'll be needed against Juve?"

"I dunno I'm not a manager."

"Do you think the keeper went down a bit early there Robbie?"

"I dunno I'm not a goal keeper."

He actually gets paid a lot of money to say things like this.

The oft used phrase ‘Be careful what you wish for’ seems to be quite appropriate.

"Can you explain why you as good as went on strike to get a move to Blackburn from Birmingham as Blackburn is closer to Wrexham Robbie? Is Blackburn really closer to Wrexham Robbie or were you just guessing? What is the difference in mileage between those journeys and which is furthest Robbie?"

"I dunno, I'm a total fuckwit".

Or maybe - sadly - ‘will you play for that lot for a million quid extra - yes. And the fans - it’s a million quid. Do you care what anyone thinks as long as you have hair? No.’ Do I care - really, no. He’s an irrelevance.
