Is anyone else watching the cup replay and hoping Wednesday get royally shafted by a dreadful refereeing performance? Just for a laugh like.

Best Villa player for 20 years in my opinion.  Best Villa centre forward I have seen going back to and including Trevor Ford.

Yes, I was thinking that too. I was also wondering if turning the sound up really loud on the telly might make the atmosphere in the ground sound a bit better.

Only problem with that is it makes Mark Lawrenson louder too.  Although for once his world-weary can't-be-arsed schtick is entirely appropriate for this match.

Carlos Sanchez has just played in a 1-0 win over Madrid. Didn't realise he was back in Spain.

What a shite game.

Doesn’t help having Kevin Mundane summarising.

Swansea take the lead but there is no way that goal should have been allowed. Swansea have somehow managed to doctor the shape of their goal posts in such a way that the ball deflects back to their own player rather than Wednesday's. A disgrace.

That second goal was a total disgrace. Jordan Ayew definitely  fouled the Wednesday player who was only a couple of yards from him in the build up and Dyer was offside by a mile. Blind officials sorry bribed officials.
