I never thought I would have done this but when Spurs equalised I cheered.  This for a club that in the past I would cheer for any team that played against them.  Strange days indeed.

Me too. Cracking game for the neutral

Can we have the name of the forum changed to Eels and Cockerels, please?

It’s nice to see Ronaldo finally playing like an ordinary player

There was no cheer from me just a head nod and rather envious sigh.

Not having BT Sport, apart from checking the results online to see how my bets have done I only follow the CL on the ITV highlights show. But with City as good as through, Liverpool currently looking like they will join them and Spurs getting a good result last night it looks as though we will have plenty of English interest in it this year. I think United will go through against Sevilla, although I expect it to be tight. I don't fancy Chelsea to knock out Barcelona but reckon we will have three, possibly four English representatives in the last eight. I fancy City or Barcelona to win it as not only are they the best two teams but they both have big leads in their domestic leagues which allows them the luxury of resting players.

I am not sure about City and Barca with PSG so rampant at the moment.

PSG are quality and also have a decent lead in their domestic league but I wouldn't back them to Beat City or Barca over two legs.

Well yes based on the final 10 minute in the match tonight I have clearly over estimated them.

I can see Elgin giving them a game, to be fair.

I think you've lost your marbles.
