I like the current Spurs side and admire them for making a fist of their challenging of the of 'new world order', especially Arsenal who I used to quite like (mainly for pissing on the chips of Liverpool's Midlands glory hunting fans in 1989 and allowing us to borrow their ground for a party in 1981) until they beat us in the final and their fans gave it the' big un' to our coaches all the way out of London. But like the old Newcastle who were "every fans second favourite club" (I lived in Tenerife in the mid nineties and the blokes I used to watch the live 3pm Saturday kick offs on Spanish TV with and were my best mates were four Villa fans, three Manchester City fans , a Stoke fan a Leicester fan and a Blackburn fan and no Newcastle fan funnily enough. Spurs are good but they are the new QPR/Ipswich/Watford/Southampton (maybe even late seventies early eighties Albion at a push) close but no cigar team.
