Hoping Brentford play Vibe up front today. He wasn’t in the squad for their last match, as it’s rumoured he’s off to China (think their transfer window is still open).

Not included today either.

Brentford have plenty of other good players though.

It was only the third round.

Getting to the quarters and then Houllier putting out Michael Bradley et all at Man. City was a tad more annoying.

A shame they only demonstrate how "good" they are twice a season. They'll roll over today. We need to win to stay within a point of Derby.

It was a 1-1 draw earlier this season at Griffin Park.

Oh, had in mind It was quarters as we played that game middle of March which is when the QFs usually take place. Wolves at home was right afterwards. So Houllier threw a cup game just to lose at Wolves for the first time since the 80s which predictably got everyone in a rage.

Bolton away was the next game. Wolves was a fortnight  later. We lost that then had that run of one  defeat in the last eight games, so it could be argued that not having the cup to worry about anymore helped us in that respect.

They’re worse than the dog heads for getting carried away, it will work in our favour. They’ll fancy themselves and get sent packing.

Wolves are head and shoulders above anyone in this league, including us. They're playing some great stuff against Sheff Utd.
