This is absolute genius from the club official Twitter account:https://twitter.com/AVFCOfficial/status/956190305535086592And to be fair to the Leeds fans, they seem to have taken it in good spirit.
Would someone please be kind to an old man and explain this tweet to me please. I understand that it's to do with a Play Station game but that's where I hit the wall. Sorry for my geriatric stupidity.
The better together reference is a Brexit play obviously indicating the err slightly right wing nature of the new Leeds badge In pro evo (a football video game like FIFA) they have made up teams. We are West Midlands Village, Leeds are Yorkshire Whites. So they put the new badge next to the Pro Evo West Midlands Village one indicating it looks more like it was made up for a video game than a real thing. It shows someone in our media department is culturally on point. As an aside I have always liked the West Midlands Village double unicorn badge

Sorry for my geriatric stupidity. In Pro Evolution Soccer, because they don't have proper licensing for British football, they have to make up names for players and teams, and also badges. I haven't played it in donkey's years but I recall Villa were known as West Midlands Village and presumably Leeds were Yorkshire Whites.
I don’t get it.
