Typical Liverpool, beat Man City then lose to Swansea. Which is why, hopefully, we'll never have to see them win the League again.

Ain’t that the truth. Doesn’t matter who manages them, who plays for them, how much the Beeb lauds them they will still manage to be great and really poor within a week. Must be very frustrating for their fans, not that I give a shit.

I had a bet on Liverpool to win 3-1. I actually retained a degree of optimism until the eighty minute mark when the penny dropeed that it just wasn't going to happen.

Youth Cup HT - Bury 0 Villa 0. Little calm football, too many aimless long balls. No stand out players yet.

Pretty much how I saw it NV - I was a little disappointed to be honest - Bury deserved the win - at least they attempted to play some decent football

Terrible defending by Magnussen.

Beckenbaker would have hoofed that ball halfway to Bedminster

I think it’s fair to say that the new Leeds badge hasn’t met with universal approval.

What’s to complain about? It looks like it celebrates White Power. You’d think it would be well received up there.

It does look quite aggressive as well as ridiculous.

That arm looks like it's about to crank out 90 degrees to the right and 45 degrees to the vertical.

Someone on Facebook wittily said it looked like a logo of a garage offering cheap m.o.t's.

I've always thought Birminghams badge is like the tree air freshener for cars.

Didn't Leeds have a yellow smiley face badge at some point in the late seventies?

I had City to win 3-1 last night. Close but no cigar. I've got Chelsea to win 2-1 tonight.

I remember when Leeds were at Villa Park in the 80s and when they got a corner they all screamed 'Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!' like a bunch of fascists, giving it triple salutes. Thereafter, as a piss take, whenever we got a corner we all made monkey noises. They were not amused; we continued to do it for a few good seasons.

This is absolute genius from the club official Twitter account:

And to be fair to the Leeds fans, they seem to have taken it in good spirit.
