What’s that you say?  A championship team take the cup seriously and go through to the next round beating a PL team along the way?

Forest won't win the FA Cup, so all their supporters having a lovely time tonight, it'll all be for nothing and they are wasting their time.

So the joke is clearly on them.

One things is definite and worth mentioning though: Forest will 100% be in the same division next season so have nothing to lose.

Forest and Newport taking the FA Cup seriously and giving their fans a day they will never forget.

Deluded fools.

Exactly. I hope we don’t go down that road. The very thought. What try and win a trophy? Are you being serious?

Ask Villa fans of different generations to name great Villa Park matches that live long in the memory and, amongst others, you'll hear about a League Cup semi-final against Manchester United, UEFA Cup matches against Inter and, more recently, a F.A. Cup quarter final against Albion.  All fabulous memories that will live long with those present  and the fact that none of them were the prelude to ultimately lifting the trophy at stake doesn't alter that fact one iota.

Tranmere was probably my favourite.

Mind too, but I deliberately chose cup ties where we didn't go on to win the trophy.

We're Aston Villa. We're not small time.enough to consider beating Arsenal as a day to remember.

Losing to them however lasts in the memory for the collective, for polar reasons.

An Arsenal fan called Talksport to say he was excited about the fact that whilst watching the highlights of their game at Forest the MOTD cameras showed David O'Leary in the crowd. He was seriously hoping it meant our beloved former manager would be forming a new managerial partnership under the guiding hand of Wenger next season!

Yeovil, the lowest team still left in the Cup, have drawn Manchester United at home. Great draw for Yeovil.

United's match vs Derby was the first time their Cup match has not been televised for 13 years, I somehow thing it will be this time.

The best ties of the fourth round draw were United v Liverpool and Chelsea v Spurs.

Shame they were only paired up in the rehearsal draw.

Ask any fan of most teams and you'll get the same answer. If asked to list my favourite Tamworth moments for instance my list would include FA cup wins over Cheltenham, Hartlepool and Bournemouth, a last minute of extra time FA Cup winner against Bromsgrove Rovers and a trip to Everton where we had no chance but no one cared. The FA Cup creates memories no matter what your standing in the game is.
