Great to see both sides playing some youngsters. Hope to see the same tomorrow.

Watching Man U vs Derby. While Derby may well lose in the end they have been brilliant disciplined and organized. And the patronizing commentary that is going on is borderline obnoxious. All I am waiting to hear is “plucky little Derby”. Scott Carson has been outstanding.

Great goal from Everton.  Had me out of my armchair, as a neutral, and pleased I came home early from the pub to watch this game.

There you go. 1-0 Man U. Screamer mind you from Lingaard. Only way Carson was being beaten.

Tonight reminds me how much I hate Liverpool. No doubt the billion pound defender is the greatest player ever already.

The Van Dijk stuff was neauseating. There was a point after he'd scored when the commentator cried 'That's why they paid seventy five million for him!' and I had a vision of that clip playing in a documentary in twenty years time and some talking head asking how we didn't realise from that that football was going to collapse like a bunch of toxic share options.

I heard the names Hansen and Lawrenson being floated around at the end of the game.

Now that's nauseating.

Half and half's? 8pm KO on a Friday?
Derby my arse.

That Milner Pen in a "Derby" bought back some nice memories though.

Agreed Nev. I had a Facebook dust up last night with a friend of a friend who was waxing lyrical about how you must experience the Merseyside derby to understand the bitter hatred. What a load of bollocks.

I likened it to two old blokes taking the piss in the pub if which one tends to fall asleep earliest.

Yeah, he's a nice bloke but I really couldn't see where he was coming from with that comment at all.

I really like Lingard, he's a decent player.

They're getting vouchers for next year's Champions League final.
