Brent Council currently restricts Wembley to 37 full-capacity events per year and, under the current planning agreement, Tottenham would be able to play five home games in front of 90,000 with the rest limited up to 51,000.Wembley’s request for the number of full-capacity events to be increased by 31 for next season would allow Tottenham to play in front of a sold-out Wembley for 36 games, which would cover their Premier League and European quota.Brent council will make a decision on the request at a planning committee meeting on March 23, which Tottenham chiefs are expected to attend.
