I see it’s West Ham West Brom tonight. Let’s put to one side the teams involved, but West Brom played on New Years Eve whereas West Ham last played Boxing Day. How is that ever fair?

Because the world is never fair to them. Just ask them.

They do have a point on this one though.

No they don't. By accepting the huge amounts of TV money they have sold the principles and rights of fair and equal fixture planning, the same as every other club.
Suck it up Sandwell.

The same should apply to West Ham. You’ve got to look past your hatred of a West Brom.

It's not to do with the league. West Ham and Tottenham were supposed to play on the 31st but the game was moved as London Transport said that they didn't want a game on that day as they had a skeleton service running and would have to restrict capacity to 40,000 if the game went ahead.

As a result, Tottenham and West Ham are being inconvenienced by having to play two games in three days today and Thursday.

It's shit but it happens. I remember us being disadvanted last Christmas when Cardiff had a nice long break as their previous game was postponed. We also suffered at having to play two games in three days later in the season as the Sky Fairy worshipers didn't want us playing on Hot Cross Bun Day.

You have to lose your Italian accent. ;)

I would take a guess that Albion are one of the PL teams least effected by fixtures changed for TV. Plus the parachute money will come in handy for them next season.

Pardew getting his excuses in early. Here's to the next four months without a win!

Be honest. You didn’t try at all.

Why? That’s like saying ‘You’ve got to look past breathing.’

Having been given the penalty they were against Arsenal the other night, and the goal that was given against Swansea tonight that was clearly offside, I'd say West Brom are enjoying all the luck that's going currently.

This is a club whose fans insist they would have won the league one year had it not got cold in the winter.  Evidently the rest of the country spent Christmas Day that year bathing in tropical sunshine.
