I though it was a penalty. He moved his hand to the ball. Arsenal never play well when I want them to win. Twats.

His hand was in front of his chest/stomach, in a wholly natural position.

Yes, he deliberately handled the ball like a natural.

Penalty, the player brought his forearm across so that it was at right angles to his upper arm and then moved it towards the middle of his body.  He knew what he was doing and, whatsmore, the referee knew he knew what he was doing and that's why he gave it.  Not all players lack guile.

I've viewed that several times now, not just the nano second the referee has and not once have I seen anything to make me change my mind.

Kamaraa mentioned this type of thing happening in GOS earlier today.  It's the ambiguity of the law, 'if in the opinion of the referee...'  And until that is removed you are going to have problems.  That said, it shouldn't be a problem next season with the introduction of the review system.

I doubt VAR will improve decisions like that as its just the interpretation of the law and even Pardew didnt think it was a penalty

If Dr T hadn't bought us in 2016, Mendes may have done, instead of Wolves, 12 months later.

Mendes doesn't own Wolves, he just has a business connection to their Chinese owners.

My mistake. Mendes heavily involved in advice and transfers though

Wilfred Zaha likes to fall over a lot rather easily. Every time I see him he has trouble staying on his feet, I'm not saying he's a cheat but he is.

Swop him for Snod though!

Regardless of the fact it was WBA, nice too see a dodgy decision go for the underdog/struggler for a change. Too many times the likes of Man United and Chelsea get away with benefit of the doubt or blue murder.

I’d have to disagree :-/

If that pen had been given against us in the last minute of a game, we'd be fuming.

One thing I do like about the Championship is not having heard of the ref before the game, even if some of them have been terrible.

Agree on this, the guy against Boro was quite good, hardlynoticed him but some of them have been beyond awful.

Yep irrespective of today's other results. Lose and 2nd to 4th could readily be 8 or 9 points away.
