Whatever you think of them they have been tremendous this season.  The only place left is 2nd I would suggest.

2nd now looking more possible tho because its changing hands all the time & we're possibly within striking distance of it.

Now, now. Don't be so pessimistic.

I reckon fifth, eighth or tenth are still well within our grasp this season.

Hats off to Wolves really. After being in freefall for so many years it took real balls to make such a drastic change in football style and philosophy. I dont wish them well by any means but they have my grudging respect.

Good result for us but Bristol do look a worry for Monday.

True, but at least their 1st choice 'keeper won't be scoring against us. Every cloud... ;)

And before we go overboard about them, how many times have they got it wrong?

Bristol City have FA Cup and League Cup games coming up, so hopefully they won’t be fully focused on us.

A LOT :)

Hopefully we as a club can take note and avoid going through all the crap decisions Wolves did before finally dragging themselves into modern football.

Regarding decisions being made, you never know when you’ve actually got it right until it goes right. Especially in professional sport. Did Leicester ever see winning the title under has been manager Ranieri when they appointed him? But it was genius when it all came together.

Wolves had a plan and went through with it, just like many plans they’ve had in the past. This one, like others before when they have been promoted seems to be going well but at the time of inception there was no absolute guarantee it would work. So good for them that they appear to be very much on the right track and will be promoted. We’ll then see if it is something that carries them through at a higher level.

Our plan seems to be stumbling along and maybe Bruce is right. There’s nothing to worry about, everything will be fine in the end. Or maybe he’ll just be fired eventually because he couldn’t carry out the task set for and agreed by him. Either way it’s impossible to say if they have got it right for the long haul because we can’t see that far ahead. Or whether we’ve got it wrong.

Bit harsh that red card I think
I thought so too. He got the ball as I could see

I didn't think it was a red either. I will take that result though.

I'm glad I'm not spending Christmas and New Year as a guest in the Mourinho household.

That could equally apply to any period spent in the company of rugby ball head.

Wolves have got it right because they spent big and spent well. The added dimension is that they Mendes connection meant that they had the pick of the best players where the likes of us would be "fishing" abroad for similar players with more chances of it going wrong. If Dr T hadn't bought us in 2016, Mendes may have done, instead of Wolves, 12 months later.
