Didn't realise our ex academy player Johnathan Hogg played for Huddersfield. The German commentators even said Southgate came to watch him the other day with view to a potential call up. What the hell? Sometimes I feel like Han Solo waking up from carbon sleep or South Park's prehistoric ice man from 1996. You stop really following football for a bit and it just goes wacky in the meantime.
Quite a few players we've let go would do a job for  us now. Although it seemed like the right time to sell them when we did. Bannan, Hogg & Albrighton to name a few.

We shouldnt have let Albrighton wind his contract down.

Like so many others he tailed off after a promising start with us so I didn't have too many complaints when he left. He links up particularly well with Vardy at Leicester.

I’m the last to cast aspersions but Ampadu, just coming on for Chelsea, looks like he’s wearing a small dog on his head.

I always thought Conte looked like Bruce Dickinson, but today in that cap he's Christian Slater in Mr Robot.

Great finish at Palace. 1-0 down approaching 90 min and former Villa legend Tom Cleverley gets his second yellow. Cue a Palace equalizer a couple of min later, followed by a second.

Unbelievable. But nice. Probably won't be long before Mark Hughes is looking for another job.

(Top of Serie A) Inter 0-0 Pordenone (Serie C) in the Coppa Italia. The baddies won on sudden death penalties.

That’s a great achievement.   Just shows what a good manager can do.

"Three in a row, you'll never sing that" would do the job.
